Dietetic Intern
You must register with the College if you are enrolled or registered in the Masters of Applied Human Nutrition program at the University of Manitoba.
Internship or practicum students from other provinces, must also register if they are completing a rotation in Manitoba.
Dietetic Intern Application Process
Required Documents:

- Original criminal record checks with vulnerable sector check, adult and child abuse registry checks; checks must have been completed within six months of application. Please be aware that only original documents are acceptable for application for registration with the College.
- If you reside in Winnipeg, you can order your criminal record check online from the Winnipeg Police Service. The results will be sent to you directly from the Winnipeg Police Services either through email or for pick -up. If the results are sent to you by email, forward the email to the College for us to access your results directly. If you are picking up the results at the police station, send the document in its original form, sealed in the envelope. Otherwise, the document that is available for you to print out will be stamped with the word ‘VOID’ and is not acceptable to the College.
- If you do not reside in Winnipeg, please contact your local police service to order the criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check. The College will accept background checks from other provinces, as long as it is a nationwide search. If the province where you reside conducts separate adult and child abuse registry checks, contact them to order. If that service is not available in your home province, the criminal record check with vulnerable sector check will contain that information
- Official transcripts sent directly from your university OR transcripts sealed in an envelope, with university seal and signature on the envelope. Please note we don’t accept transcripts sent by email.
- A copy of your certificate of graduation, which can be uploaded when completing your online application.
- Proof of identity and current legal name, such as a copy of your passport or drivers licence, which can be uploaded when completing your online application.

The application deadline is June 30, 2024.
Dietetic Intern Fee: $120.00.
