Step 1: IEP Application
To determine your eligibility for registration with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba (the College) you must apply for an assessment with the College. Complete the IEP Application Form (pdf or online)
Before you begin the assessment process, please be aware that the only dietetics internship/practicum program in Manitoba is an integrated graduate degree and there are currently no opportunities for practicum upgrading in the province.
Once the College receives your complete application, it will undergo a document assessment (Step 2). You can expect to receive the results of your document assessment within eight weeks.
Assessment Process
- Gather your required documents*, including:
- Proof of language proficiency test (if applicable)
- Official transcripts or notarized translations
- Official letter or notarized translation from internship director stating that you have completed an internship and detailed description of the program content
- Course descriptions
- Completion of the Practical Experience Summary Form
- Submit your application package (the above items) to the College

You must submit all required documents within 30 days of submitting your IEP Application Form. If you require more than 30 days, please inform the College.
You must instruct your credential assessment agency to send your assessment results directly to the College. Ensure that the results are delivered within the 30-day time limit.
Fees:
- At the time of application, you will be charged the initial application fee of $120.00.
- Assessment Fees: $400.00. Once we receive a complete application, an invoice for the assessment fees will appear on your account with the College.
